I do hope they end up stopping this from happening, I can only imagine the problems. At least they are aware and trying to warn motor carriers about the problem. This has something to do with personal info and it is a case of fraud attempts aimed at motor carriers. Read more to see..
The Dept. of Transportation is warning trucking companies to be aware that another round of fraudulent USDOT letters are being distributed, largely by fax, to motor carrier officials.
