jennifer m, Let me start out by saying I’m not always right when it comes to auto repair. Last month I had an accident with my Nissan Pathfinder and I wasn’t sure how to fix them. I tried to search the Internet for tips, but the procedures were too difficult for my skills. I ended up going to the dealship for my repairs. The dealership tends to charge more than mom and pop repair shops, but they’ve seen all sorts of situations (car insurance problems, repair warranty issues, etc) and they seem to always find a way to help me. Maybe you can try calling auto repair shops in Alabama to see if they can help you. http://www.autorepairshoplocator.com/Alabama-Auto-Repair.html

  • It depends on what programs your state has. Lot’s of states have training programs. The best way to find out is when you first start collecting unemployment benefits to speak to a counselor in the employment services department. Sometimes they tell you if training is available when you have your orientation. If you’re not collecting benefits, sometimes there are still plans to help with training. To find out the requirements you still would need to speak to a State employment counselor at your Department of Labor.
