My 1999 Dodge Ram 1500′s a/c stops blowing cold air when the truck warms up. It’s not low on charge. Help

Have tried jumping low and high pressure switches, and have replaced condenser (had a small leak). I have also changed the a/c clutch relay and fuse. Have had it into a couple of shops with the same answer, (they shrug and say they could start throwing parts at it). The a/c clutch is not engaged when there is hot air.

  • what it might be doing is when the heater core heats up on it the blend door that supposed to block the heat from entering in to the vehicle is failing this will cause it blow hot air from it and will shut the a/c compressor down on it,i have seen that happen a few times on those and its hard to detect also,if it has climate control on it, the climate control switch is bad,it shuts the compressor down and turns to heat instead of cold air,its a hard problem to diagnose also, you,ll have to leave it with a shop so they can see it doing this, other wise you can throw parts at it all day long and still not get it fixed,i got one now that’s has the same problem, and its a 2001 model, but its doing exactly the same thing, good luck with it.
